Government Bodies and VAANI
VAANI works with government bodies to create awareness about issues around deafness. The VAANI team worked actively with Rehabilitation Council of India, NCERT and IGNOU designing curricula professional training courses.
VAANI works to strengthen & develop training courses to upgrade teachers’/ CBR (Community Based Rehabilitation) workers’ skills. We are setting up training programmes in collaboration with DWD in Karnataka and the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan in West Bengal and Assam.
