Awareness programme for Vodafone
The VAANI team was invited to make a presentation to the marketing team of Vodafone Kolkata, on 31 July 2009. 6 senior managers and 50 team members were present at the presentation.
Vodafone is a friend of VAANI and supports us by funding awareness programmes on deafness , training workshops for parents and community workers as well as social and emotional needs workshops for parents of deaf children on a monthly basis. The VAANI team made a presentation to the Vodafone team members to show them the impact their contribution has made on the lives of the deaf children. The presentation also aimed to sensitise the Vodafone team members on issues that surround childhood deafness.
Mr. Sridhar Rao, CEO Vodafone Eastern India mentioned that he would like his team to come up with innovative ideas to support VAANI.
