VAANI, Deaf Children’s Foundation and Save The Children India have established a partnership for setting up and running ‘DHVANI’, a project to provide early intervention services in Mumbai for children with speech & hearing impairment.
VAANI, Deaf Children’s Foundation and Save The Children India have established a partnership for setting up and running ‘DHVANI’, a project to provide early intervention services in Mumbai for children with speech & hearing impairment.

In keeping with our policy both organisations are sharing their strengths, skills and resources to develop a programme of high quality. The Early Intervention Centre is planned as a ‘State of the Art’ facility for all deaf children from all stratas of society. It will include three facilities: • Diagnostic facilities for early identification and Audiological Services • Facilities for counselling and training parents of young deaf children (0 – 3 years) • Working with children (0 – 3 years) Save The Children India is a non-profit organisation established in 1988 and has been working towards the empowerment of disadvantaged children and women, with its health, nutrition, education and vocational training programs.
