Lakshana - catalyst for transformation
VAANI's bi-annual newsletter 'Lakshana - catalyst for transformation' is published for families of deaf children in English, Mizo, Khasi, Hindi, Assamese and Bangla. These newsletters are on themes that are of relevance to deaf children and their families : modes of communication, informed choice, involvement of parents in the upbringing of their deaf child and social and emotional needs of deaf children and early reading in the development of language skills for young deaf children.
The sixth and latest issue is on the importance of early stimulation for deaf babies.
