Training material
VAANI consultants conduct workshops and training programmes for professionals who work with deaf children and family members of deaf children. These programmes are on basic communication skills, emotional and social needs of deaf children, basic training on issues around deafness.
VAANI also distributes teaching and learning material designed by our partner Umang for use by family members and professionals who work with deaf children. This specially prepared kit contains picture cards, story boards and an interactive cd. The distribution of these kits is always preceded by a training programme by experts who were involved in the designing of this highly appreciated material.
