Sign Language has always been something I wanted to learn for a long time. I was more than eager and excited when I learnt that we would be taught ISL via our CSR program in association with VAANI. Hats off to both Sumedha and Nithya for teaching us with so much patience. This only proves to show how proactive VAANI is in encouraging and advocating the use of ISL for the betterment. As we move on to being an inclusive society, VAANI has a big hand in normalizing the use of ISL and making it easy and understandable to learn it. Big thanks to Sumedha and Nithya for teaching me as also making me more empathic towards or specially-abled friends 🙂

When there was an announcement for learning Indian Sign Language (through my work organization), i just wanted to make a try to learn it. But, I came to know that there is different beautiful part of the world which i don’t even aware of it before. The weekend sessions with Sumedha and Nithya were very interactive with good learning experience which made me to wait eagerly for the weekend. we had a good and awesome conversations with ISL which made me lost in the crisis situation and helped me for mentally strong and feel complete for the day. Additionally, the work that they do for the deaf and dumb children , including education to prevent sexual abuse is commendable. Looking forward to the time to make a visit to Vaani. Thank you for the opportunity and for all the immense things you are doing!!!
